A Florida family was shocked to find a gigantic 11-foot alligator submerged in their backyard pool, according to the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office.

The Deep Creek residents heard a nighttime racket in their backyard this week and came out to investigate the noises.

The family recoiled in horror after spotting the massive creature enjoying a nocturnal swim in their pool.

With the help of a specialized alligator trapper, police removed the beast from the premises and officials said it ended up weighing 550 pounds and measured roughly 11 feet.

Deputies discovered that the invader tore through a screened enclosure to kick off the pool party.

“Always check your pool before diving in!” read a department Facebook post announcing the incident.
