At least six people were injured after a shuttle bus overturned along Highway 330 in San Bernardino County Sunday afternoon, officials said.

The crash was reported about 2 p.m. along the rural highway above Highland.

The California Highway Patrol initially reported there were 50 passengers on the bus, but Jeremy Kern with the San Bernardino County Fire Department later said there were 22 people aboard.

Two people needed to be immediately transported by ambulance, and four others had unknown injuries. Twenty people were reported as “walking wounded,” fire officials said in a tweet.

Highway 330 is closed from Highland to City Creek during the response.

San Manuel and Running Springs fire departments and San Bernardino National Forest officials also responded to the scene.

KTLA’s Stephen Acosta contributed to this story.
